Dr. Andersen began his career as an optometrist in his hometown—Battle Creek, Michigan—in 1982. He moved to California in 1985 and practiced as a member of the Eye Associates of Sebastopol Medical Group. In 1997, he joined North Bay Eye Associates. He is married and has two sons.
