BACKGROUND: Dr. Silkiss, a pre-eminent oculofacial plastic surgeon in the San Francisco Bay area, provides her medical expertise and surgical skills to patients in and around Sonoma County through her association with North Bay Eye Associates. Patients in and around Sonoma County no longer need to travel to her San Francisco office for evaluation and surgery. She is available for consultation and surgery at the North Bay Eye Associates offices and state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center located in Santa Rosa.

Dr. Silkiss specializes in eyelid and facial rejuvenation and provides reconstructive surgery for people with age-related eyelid conditions. These include drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelid malposition (entropion, ectropion), and eyelash abnormalities. She has a special interest in treating peri-orbital tumors, traumatic lid and orbital injuries, congenital abnormalities, thyroid eye disease, tearing problems, and blinking difficulties (blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm).

Dr. Silkiss completed her residency in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic, Reconstructive, and Orbital Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and currently serves as Chief of the Division of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
