Ophthalmic Technician
Our ideal candidate is someone with prior medical experience who would thrive on providing excellent customer service to our diverse patient population. Additional qualities we seek are kindness, compassion, intelligence, patience, energetic, team-oriented with the ability to learn and change direction quickly and effortlessly.
Duties include doing pre-exam patient workups and testing, typing medical histories and medications into the electronic medical record, assisting our doctors with scribing, minor procedures, as well as explaining post-procedure instructions to our patients. You'll also assist the doctor and/or administrative staff in any necessary functions. We have an informal 6-12 month training program to prepare you for learning these new duties. Many of our employees have been with us for 10-20 years, and we would love to find candidates that are looking for a career and a place to grow.
